How to write offers that actually sell: a no-bs formula
Your offers aren't converting? Try this simple formula: start with the customer's pain, give a quick solution, and show them the result. Boost your sales without the fluff.
How to write offers that make people scream “take my money!”
Let's be real. All that "we will teach you" or "become the best you" stuff is boring nonsense that no one pays attention to anymore. People are tired of fluff. They want specifics.
A strong offer isn't a promise of a happy life. It's a clear answer to the customer's question: "what do i get if i spend my time and money on you?".
If your copy sounds weak and customers are just scrolling past, here’s a simple formula to fix that.
Step 1. Start with the pain. The real, annoying kind 😤
To get heard, you need to talk about what's actually bugging them. No generic statements.
Bad:
"Learning HTML can be challenging…" — yawn, who cares.
Good:
“It's day 3 of fighting with that one button, and it still won't stay put. Is your last brain cell about to quit? 🤯”
You want them to think, "damn, that's literally me." Boom, you've got their attention.
Step 2. Give a simple solution, not a vague promise ⚡
Once you've poked the pain point, don't drag it out. Give them the "pill" right away.
Bad:
"In our course, we will cover all the details..." — more fluff.
Good:
“You'll build the block in 5 easy steps: headline, text, button. Everything will lock into place and stop moving around. ✅”
This makes it feel easy and doable. If it's simple, then "I can do it."
Step 3. Show a result they can actually picture 🎉
People don't buy the process, they buy the final picture in their head. Give them that picture.
Bad:
“You will become a confident specialist.”
Good:
“In a month, you'll show your friends a website you made yourself. And you won't be embarrassed. 😎”
This isn't just "learning" anymore. It's a real goal they actually want.
Want to make it even punchier? Add some spice:
emotions: "embarrassed to show," "losing your mind," “feel proud.”
numbers: "5 steps," "30 days," “in 15 minutes.”
vivid images: "the button has a mind of its own," “code that holds its shape.”
Let's put it all together into one killer offer:
“Still fighting with that button on day 3? 🤷♂️ We'll show you a simple 5-step system to build a block that actually holds its shape. And in just one month, you’ll have a site you're proud to show your friends. 🚀”
See? No magic. Just paying attention to what people really want.
Here's your simple action plan:
